We are aiming to complete the initial migration within this academic year but we know that this project will take longer to fully complete and ensure every team is up and running in our new Microsoft workspace.

We will update this page regularly with key dates.

We've changed our decommissioning schedule and here are the key dates:

5th Nov - Removal of Google Chat and Google Meet
28th Nov - Request decommissioning old Finance system, loss of access to O:\ drive (firewall changes)
12th Dec - Decommissioning of @leeds.ac.uk accounts (Batch #1 - most staff)
12th Dec - Decommissioning Google sites operated by Digital & Data plus the Intranet (which People team have been migrating across)
13th Feb - Target date for removal of Google Drive, remaining Google sites and decommissioning of @luu.org.uk users

The schedule opposite gives you an overview on our transformation this Autumn,

We are switching from the university Microsoft for the start of September (but you will still have access to your @leeds.ac.uk emails) and then as we get setup, LUU Digital Services will support teams to fully migrate across and away from Google.
